Audio Detection System

This machine is designed to be positioned within a production line and has been specifically engineered as a preventative measure to remove foreign objects within a product flow. The machine is placed in-line, and can be fed by a separate or existing transport belt.
The product flows over the top of the integral detection plate which measures the sound frequency of the flow. When a foreign object is detected (e.g. stone, glass metal etc…) the plate pneumatically flips up and the products that were traveling over the system at that instant will be ejected to a chute below the machine; the plate then returns to the normal position. Underneath the machine the operator can sort through the small batch of good material, remove the offending item and return the good product to the line. This is an extra security measure that shouldn’t be used in place of an existing de-stoner but can significantly reduce the chances of damaging blades, roller knives further down the processing line and essentially having these unwanted items in your end product.

The system is available as a standalone machine with control box or can be integrated into the in-feed of continuous peelers or many other existing machines.

The capacity of the standard machine, as mentioned above, is approx. 3500 - 5000 kg/hr, depending on your product, the flow and the amount of waste products. Width of the detection plate is max. 974 mm.
