FPAP Pepper Line
Method of operation:
This machine has specifically been designed for the coring and then halving of Bell Peppers.
In Feed
A horizontal in-feed belt with photocell-control transports the peppers to the positioning zone of the machine. The product is then placed manually on the specially designed transport system; the holders open and close automatically holding the pepper securely for the coring process, minimising the possibility of product damage.
Coring of the pepper.
The quality of Coring is achieved by a turning knife moving up and down with a pneumatic pusher in the centre that ejects the core underneath the machine where a Dolav can be positioned.
The size of the coring cut is adjustable by simply changing the rotating knife and pusher.
Halving. The pepper is halved by rotating blades once the coring has taken place.
Out-Feed
After the peppers have been cored, or cored and halved, they are discharged from the machine ready for inspection. An optional inspection table is available along with a waste belt which runs along the full length of the machine.
