Rob Allum founded Projx Services in 2006, the initiative for starting the company was based on wanting his customers to grow and succeed in their business through his proposed initiatives and service. The other driver, to form business relationships based on trust, knowledge and long term mutual business benefit.
Rob has seventeen years of experience in the food processing industry, this knowledge base enables him to understand your business requirements and find suitable solutions. Rob has a track record in helping businesses across the world improve line efficiencies and process flows.
Finis
In the same year as establishing Projx Services, the business was appointed the sole agent for Finis Food Processing Equipment for the UK and Ireland. Finis have been manufacturing vegetable processing equipment and delivering large scale projects globally for over 50 years.
A year later, in 2007 Rob Allum was appointed Finis Sales Manager for Canada, USA, Mexico and Sweden. During this time he developed a wealth of experience in the different markets around the globe, through selling and Project Managing Finis projects averaging over $1million each.
Nilma
In 2009 Projx Services was appointed the sole import agent for the Italian equipment manufacturer Nilma spa, for the UK and Ireland. Nilma UK was set up as the UK office representing Nilma business interests and to create an active role in the marketing of the complete Nilma range, dealing with end users and supporting the UK dealers. A sales and service hub for the whole of the Nilma portfolio.
Eillert
Our most recent addition to our portfolio is the complete Eillert range and Projx Services are the sole UK agents.
Eillert has been very successful in serving the vegetable processing industry. Many of the customers started as greengrocers and developed into leading food processors, supplying to food-retail, fast food, catering, professional kitchens and specialised restaurants.
The company finds its origin in The Hague in 1929, where machines were produced for retail and professional kitchens. Via sites in Doetinchem, Terborg and Ulft, Eillert settled in 2006 in Winterswijk in a very modernly equipped industrial building.
Due to the increasing demand for daily fresh vegetables, the volumes increased and for this reason, in 1964, Eillert B.V. developed the first belt slicing machine to automate the slicing process. More and more companies started specialising in industrial vegetable processing, resulting in the development of preparation tables, washing machines, centrifuges, peeling machines for rooted products and ultimately, complete production lines.
In the 1980s the rise of fast food gave a new impulse to the sector and the demand for convenience food is still increasing.
To meet changing market demands and customers' wishes, new machines and process technologies are regularly developed in-house and brought onto the market. Since the end of the 1980's Eillert participates to the most important national and international exhibitions where (inter)national contacts are being gained and maintained.
