The DS is a truly versatile machine that is able to mince, grate, chop, beat, liquidise, strain and mix within two to five minutes (depending on the application.) Typical products the machine is used to working with are hamburger mix, stuffings, mash potato, mayonnaise, grated cheese, soups, etc. The operation is based on a special knife with two blades, one at the bottom of the bowl and the other a few centimetres higher. The rotating blades cut the product, simultaneously generating a circular movement, which throws the suspended substance to the walls of the bowl so it then falls back onto the blades. There are two speeds, a lower starting speed and a finishing speed.
