The FDS prevents foreign objects, such as, glass, stones and plastics etc. from entering the processing line and ultimately, the end product.  It can also lessen damage to the knife peelers and cutting systems, due to the reduction of unwanted objects in the line. The FDS can be used in addition to existing stone removers.
