The FAPS is a master at economically peeling small onions of up to 65mm. The peeling process is able to take place without human intervention, as it is equipped with a fully automated ‘aiming and positioning system.’ Up until now, the majority of peeling companies have mainly processed onions of 60mm. and larger. As the FAPS is able to peel smaller onions, it enables businesses to have an advantage of supplying the niche small onion market. The FAPS has a variable, easily adjustable speed. It is also easy to clean and maintain.
