The Mini-Steam cooks without any air pressure in the oven, it is the dry saturated steam that prevents the food from oxidising and forming condensation; this results in the food maintaining its nutritional properties, such as vitamins and mineral salts. Cooking times are reduced by thirty to forty per cent compared to traditional cooking in water. The Mini-Steam reduces labour as it is automatic. It is also economical due to its heat recovery system and low energy consumption.
